A great day for a ride!
On a beautiful, warm and clear day, a group of six MGs drew an appreciative crowd of admirers at the mall in Pincourt before setting off on a back roads tour to a local winery, Vignoble Cote de Vaudreuil. Following the Ottawa River and then the Canal de Soulanges, the group enjoyed a trek through rural fields and forests before winding up at the vineyard. Along the way we navigated through Gord’s favourite corner without incident! Another group of six cars met the group at the picnic grounds of the vineyard. After a group picnic and a wine tasting put on by our hosts, the group enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing afternoon in the gardens of the winery which boasts an extensive display of artwork and sculpture displayed throughout the grounds. Truly a pleasant day which was capped off with many hurrying off to watch the World Cup soccer final game.
